Interindividuality in cytochrome P450 and paraoxonase mediated metabolism of mixtures of pesticides
Project Code: T10011

CXR Biosciences
Kapelyukh, Y
The purpose of this study was to investigate how pesticides might interact to affect the metabolism of each other, which would affect their toxicity, and to investigate whether some people might be more susceptible to these metabolic interactions than others. This study indicates the potential for pesticides to affect the metabolism of other pesticides and other substances. However, the results of this study cannot be directly translated to what happens in people. The results can be used to create models of how the pesticides may interact with each other in people, known as physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models.
