The project has developed a software tool for the unified management of a broad range of information related to food additives. Information on additives, their safety evaluations, food products, analytical methods, legislation, and more can be accessed from a single, unified system. There are also various ways of analysing the data.Much of the data has been reviewed against the primary sources. A system is also in place to ensure that maintenance of the data in future is carried out systematically and reliably.
