This project investigated printing inks and asociated coatings that are used on the inside surface of food packaging materials and which may consequently come into contact with the foodstuff. The conditions of use have been determined along with their chemical composition. Concentrations were estimated relative to internal standards. This has allowed estimates to be made of the potential for chemical migration into the foodstuff.
