Project Code: B15025

Veterinary Laboratories Agency, Department of Bacterial Diseases, Veterinary Laboratories Agency
Newell, D
The current focus of the Agency’s on-farm work to reduce campylobacter in UK chicken is a campaign to improve biosecurity on poultry farms. However, biosecurity alone is unlikely to control campylobacter and there is a need to fund research on other additional interventions. A critical review of available and potential interventions and strategies to reduce campylobacter on poultry farms will enable the Agency to prioritise its funding in this area and inform our campylobacter control strategy.
